As a matter of a fact, all of the pictures in the holiday cottage have been taken by us in the Pyrenees of Huesca. We hope you like them!
Charming holiday cottages, did you know that…
This holiday cottage owns its name to what it used to be, a dovecote. Can you imagine where the doves lived? Sure you can!
Holiday cottages located in Huesca for four people.
Rural tourism in Huesca is synonymous with nature and Casas Rurales Pirineo is the perfect place to start planning your daily excursions. At our holiday cottages we will inform you about the diverse routes you can take around Ordesa or about the different valleys of Huesca according to your interests and abilities. The mountain can satisfy everyone!
Rural tourism must be a way to come into contact with our surroundings. At Casas Rurales Pirineo we will help you to discover the most known animals in Ordesa National Park like the bearded vulture, the chamois or the marmot and also the less known such as the Pyrenean frog, the Pyrenean brook salamander or the ptarmigan, which are part of the wealth of Huesca too.
Ordesa is a rich valley because of its incomparable landscapes and its varied fauna, most species at risk of extinction. Among them there is the bearded vulture, a “big chicken” like those that used to live in this country cottage with a wingspan of 2.5 metres and weighing between 4.5 and 7 kilos! The Ordesa valley is the perfect shelter for these raptors that nest on the steep walls of the Pyrenees of Huesca and make them their own.
